To Borrow or Not To Borrow
So you are in a tough spot. The car payment is due and you had to spend the money on an unforeseen expense. You just received your first notice from the bank and you can't make payment on time. What do you do? You can ignore the bill and start thinking about taking the bus to work, borrow the money from your friends or family, or you can take advantage of an unsecured short-term loan commonly referred to as a Payday Loan.
A Payday Loan is a financial instrument secured against your next paycheck so getting approved is not that difficult. If you are 18 years of age, have an active checking account, and been employed for more than two months you are likely to get approved. Additionally, most lenders will only approve your loan request if you do not have any outstanding obligations with other Payday Loan Companies.
There is a potential downside to taking advantage of this somewhat easy method of getting emergency cash. If you are not disciplined enough to manage your finances and to pay back the loan on your next payday, you could find yourself in a vicious cycle of borrowing from Peter to pay Paul. If this happens, not only will you have trouble making the next car payment, you could fall behind with everything else.
Should you get a Payday Loan? Before making the decision, consider the following:
A Payday Loan is not meant to be a long term financial solution. Exercise sound personal financial practices and live within your means. Use a Payday Loan only for those unforeseen and critical expenses. DO NOT BORROW MONEY TO BUY THAT NEW TV YOU'VE BEEN WANTING!
Make sure to prepare for the payback. Remember, because the note is guaranteed against your next paycheck you'll need to plan on how to make up the shortage until your following payday. We suggest cutting all necessary spending until the Payday Loan is paid back. Also, look for ways to work overtime so you can increase your next paycheck amount.
If you can't payback the entire Payday Loan on your next paycheck, be sure to pay down as much as possible. The interest rates on Payday Loans will hurt you IF you do not make timely payments.
If you are still on the fence and not sure if you should borrow, keep in mind a Payday Loan is a good thing to have around when you need it. So borrow if you are disciplined enough to manage the payback period. If you can't you're better off asking you mom to lend you the money.

Organizing Tips - Accessories You Need to Organize Your Home Office
Is your home office in disarray? Are you late paying bills because you can't find them? Do you feel stressed when you are looking for an important paper and can't find it? If you answered yes to any of these questions, your home office is undoubtedly in disarray. This might be because of the lack of storage or because you lack systems for managing your bills, important papers and mail.
These organizing accessories will help you control the clutter in your office and keep you so organized you will never pay bills late or become frustrated because you can't find an important paper.
Accordion file folders with multiply dividers can be used to organize a variety of papers and documents. Some of them have a pocket for each letter of the alphabet and some have the months of the year. You will find they are ideal for keeping magazine and newspaper clippings organized and easy to find.
If room allows, a bulletin board saves desktop space and allows you to display important information that is readily available. They can be decorated to be a colorful addition to the home office or simply a place for those important phone numbers, daily reminders and family and school schedules.
Cable clips and ties are a must for managing your desktop computer cables as well as other cords and cables in your home office. They will eliminate unsightly clutter. There are many to choose from, such as simple twist-ties and wall-mounted clips to cable clips that conveniently organize up to twelve cables or cords. ID labels for easy cable identification are also available with some products.
A computer cart may be a consideration if you don't have enough space on your desk to hold your computer and its peripherals. A computer cart with wheels will give you the flexibility to roll the cart out of sight when company comes.
Desk organizers come in an array of choices. If room allows, a lazy Susan type of organizer for the desktop provides multiple organizers in one unit. Drawer organizers are also helpful to manage small, but important office gadgets and supplies.
Metal or wooden file cabinets are standard fare in a home office. They can be standard metal cabinets or more attractive wooden cabinets that will blend with the rest of your furniture. My favorites are the cabinets that have a frame that hold hanging folders. They are more versatile than standard manila folder cabinets.
In/Out trays are very handy for prioritizing your paperwork. You will find plastic and also wire trays that are stackable and interlocking to save space on your desk. A shelf within reach of your desk is another place for your in/out tray.
An organizing tip you might not have thought of is to hang a shoe caddy on the back of a closet door that can be used to store office supplies as well as to set up a system for your mail. They can also be used to keep bills to be paid and correspondence that needs to be acted upon handy and more visible.
